The United Kingdom is known for its tourism because every year thousands of students come to study at some of the World’s best Universities in England and ultimately they need to tour the UK. Mostly, you plan a week to see some nice cities in the UK, and thus you should not be packing too much. Here are some things you should pack for a weekly tour in UK;
A Photography camera or Smart Phone with a nice camera:
When you are travelling, you come across hundreds of amazing things to take pictures of and to forever keep them in your hard drive preserving memories. Thus a camera is a must, usually people like to keep a small photography camera with them of companies such as Nikon, which is not heavy and can be carried easily in hand luggage. Otherwise, it always good to have a smartphone whose camera is at least 5MP to allow you capture great scenes and selfies.
Rain Coat and Warm Clothes:
UK’s weather can be extremely unpredictable and is often accompanied by slow rains; hence a rain coat is a must to carry or umbrella if you wish. Although you might be going on a car, but you will definitely come out to wander around some great locations. There are many areas in UK where the weather can be pleasant throughout the year but honestly it is considered as cold for most of the people who will come to this country for the first time. Thus do have some warm clothes such as jackets, or sweaters for sleeping comfortably at nights. You can buy many of these things from nearby areas but it is better to have these from home to save some money.
Trekking Shoes:
Trekking shoes or joggers are also a must to have because the weather can be cold or rainy at times and thus you cannot afford to have shoes that would not withstand water or are not comfortable to walk on wet streets. Take peak District for example, which is often a place of great tourism and trekking for students living in Sheffield, UK and there are many beautiful looking mountains to walk on and sit quietly when you want. Also it can even snow in UK at certain times of the year, thus make sure your boots are prepared for that too.

Water bottles and good travel bags:
While exploring UK, you may be involved in many group tours to different areas such as Edinburgh, London, and thus it is good to have water bottles with you to keep you hydrated during your journey. These can be bought from UK too but again can be expensive depending upon the location. Additionally try to have the travel bags that can be carried anywhere including hilly areas in UK.
Other things to carry include money, travel documents and other clothing which we are aware of normally when we plan to visit another country. Stay safe and enjoy!
