How watching Supernatural makes me feel better during hard times of life?

I have watched many television shows and movies of multiple genres ranging from realistic scenarios to that involving fiction. Among many TV shows I have watched, which I wouldn’t name as they were all pretty good; but frankly nothing compares to what Supernatural has! Supernatural is definitely a show for me which I consider the best to watch on TV because it is not only entertaining to watch, but teaches a number of life lessons which we all need in our lives. Some of the reasons why it makes me feel good during hard periods of my life are as under;

It has everything what an audience wants!

Whatever the situation in your life, whether you are feeling sad and want some motivation in the form of comedy or you just want some great story telling; Supernatural has it all. First of all I love the cast and what really hook me to the show was the acting of lead starts Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki; who know how to show the bond between the brothers with brilliant performances. The show has comedy, drama, action and slight romance to suit audience with all types of interests. Whatever mood I am in, I watch Supernatural to laugh, cry or have a good time. Many shows I have watched are often focussed on one aspect such as action or fighting, but lose the emotions to keep audience hooked. Supernatural does not miss that!

Always keep fighting!

This is a very important lesson in life which the Winchesters have taught us. You may have many hard times in your life where you feel the need to quit and stop moving forward, forgetting that always moving forward is the key to success and a sign of life. No matter how defeated the boys are; altogether or as individual characters, they keep fighting the good fight with good intentions and that is the essence of life. Not to forget all other great characters on the show such as Bobby, Charlie; they all motivate you to always keep going and that’s what I love about this show.

Family always has your back:

With reference to Deans quote in Season 10, episode 17; “A wise man once told me; Family don’t end with blood, but it does not start there either” meaning that your close family members or even your friends who always stood with you during rough times are the ones to die for and they are not necessary to be your blood relatives. No matter where you go in your life, when you are defeated; only they can help and support you with purest of intentions and without the need of rewards. Thus always keep your friends and family members together because all the love and care a person needs; comes from family.

Your past does not define you!

What I have really learned from Dean and Sam is that they both have been defeated many times, they both have made a lot of mistakes but they have always been able to bring about success because they did not let their past define them or hold them back. This is what we all need to do in our lives; moving past our mistakes and past; and striving hard for a better future. Mistakes actually make us a better person and help shape our decisions for the great times ahead.

Every now and then, we all need motivation and Supernatural definitely gives us that. I can write on so many lessons I have learned from this show, but thought to share the most important ones here. I hope you have found this relevant to the show and your lives.
Thank you for reading!
Best Wishes
