Why Superheroes with Powers Suck?-Get a life reality check people!

You might be noticing a number of “Super Hero names in your life that are all associated with movies or television series nowadays e.g. Captain America, Iron Man from Marvel studios or Arrow, Wonder Woman or Suicide Squad from DV Comics. Guess what? They all claim to save the world! Don’t you find it hilarious? Well, I do because they are far from the reality of life and I do not really buy into this kind of crap to be honest. Here are some of the reasons why super heroes with powers suck for me;

Real life heroes DO NOT have powers!

While movies should be taken as movies as many people may argue, my point is that every movie should teach a lesson to our generations that is close to reality and that can be applied at real life situations. For example, a garbage guy who cleans your road and keeps your streets clean or a tired father who works all day to make sure that the family is well fed, is a super hero. You should not under estimate the struggles of human beings by thinking that super heroes should actually have powers. Ha! I found it extremely hilarious when I found out that Captain America was created after an injection and that was the end of Marvel movies for me. Like, seriously?

Similarly, when I say the villain getting electric shocks in Amazing Spider Man 2, and transforming into an electrical machine, I said to myself; “Dude, you are supposed to die of electrical shocks, do not fool people please!”

Saviours of the world do not exist only in America:

Most of the Super Hero Movies you are going to watch can be summarized in a simple sentence;

“America is under attack! Aliens from other planets want to rule the world and there are Super Heroes in America, who can do the job and save the entire world!!”

While this may seem acceptable for American audience and also for filmmakers who actually exist in America, to have Super Heroes who are Americans; but let’s be honest; when was the last time America saved the world? Han? I do know that America has been involved in the destruction of many countries in the world, and is hardly under attack except 9/11, thus America definitely does not hold the crown of saving the world. While there are good people in all corners of the world, super heroes can be from anywhere including America of course!

Young generation should not live in illusions!

Why we need real life hero stories such as “The Pursuit of Happiness”? Because we do not want our people to live in an illusion that if something bad happens to them; a super hero will save them because we all know that is not the case. Humans cause destruction on Earth and humans have the power and responsibility to fix anything wrong with this planet. Hence one should rely on ourselves and on the strength of humanity to make the world a better place rather than simply waiting for some Iron Man to appear and save the day. Also every country on this earth has some remarkable people working humbly to make the planet a better place and who are not given any limelight or credit, then why give importance to Super Heroes that do not even exist.

Additionally, this rising trend of Super Hero movies will only empty your pockets and is just a business for Hollywood to make more money. Hence spend money on movies which can actually make a difference in human lives.
That’s all I wanted to say. You have the complete right to agree or disagree with me.
Best Wishes
